The remedy for high-deductible hurdles
The out-of-pocket costs typically associated with a high-deductible health plan create challenges for employees unable to meet the deductible and coinsurance amounts. Framework Passage provides first-dollar coverage for employees enrolled or enrolling in the group’s high-deductible health plan.
Critical illness benefit included
Each enrolled employee is covered by a $10,000 critical illness benefit which pays the lump-sum upon first diagnosis of a covered critical illness. The spouse has a $5,000 benefit and each child has a $2,500 critical illness benefit. Covered conditions include heart attack, stroke, invasive cancer, kidney failure, loss of limbs, major organ transplant and paralysis.
Affordable and easy to access
When the employer pays 100 percent of the premium, monthly rates are as low as $33.75 for an employee to $97.06 for a family. Framework Passage is guarantee issue. There are no pre-existing condition limitations*, no copays, deductibles or carrier-mandated waiting periods.
*The critical illness benefit does have a pre-existing condition limitation period.
